FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 21 Illinois women’s track and field team had a successful first day of competition at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, as four athletes advanced to another round of competition on Wednesday at John McDonnell Field. CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Illinois junior Brandon Wikoff (Peoria, Ill.) was named to the All-Ping! Baseball second team Friday, marking Illinois' second-ever honoree by Ping! along with catcher Lars Davis, who was Ping!'s first-team catcher in 2007.
